Electricity has been damaged in Damam of Jhapa this morning, while a hotel was burnt by about Rs. 20 lakh.
The hotel manager Kedar Basnet informed that the incident occurred at 5:30 AM at Muga Hotel on Dumak-5.
He said that all the materials, such as AC, chair, table, gypsons, and other items in the hall were destroyed. Inspector Shyamal Subba of the Area Police Office Damak, said that the police were under control after half an hour with the help of the fire and the local residents.
